Our story
From a one-person operation to a small, family-run team
SHC Electrical Ltd was founded in 2013 by Scott Chambers, starting out as a one-person operation taking on domestic and small commercial jobs. Since then the business has grown steadily into a small, family-run team — now handling commercial, industrial and public sector contracts alongside household rewires, while keeping the same hands-on approach to every job that it started with.
Being family-run means the people who quote the job are the same people who show up to do it and sign it off — no call centres, no handing you between departments. Every installation, whatever the size, is designed, wired and tested to BS 7671 and handed over with full certification, so what's on site always matches what's on paper.
